I thought becoming a therapist meant mastering theory.
But no one warned me about this part:

🌀 The silence after launching.
💬 The tremble in your voice when a client finally calls.
💻 The self-doubt that shows up louder than any diagnosis manual.
💸 The guilt after quoting a fair fee — and second-guessing it.

Here’s what no one tells you:
Therapy school teaches you techniques — but it doesn’t teach you how to sit with fear.
It doesn’t show you how to handle the emotional weight of being a beginner.

✨ I once practiced my first client call script for 20 minutes… and still ended up saying “Hi, uh... hello?” in a shaky voice.
✨ I undercharged for three months because I thought “more affordable” made me more worthy — and then wondered why I was exhausted and resentful.

It took me time (and tears) to realize:
You’re not supposed to have it all figured out.
You’re supposed to keep showing up anyway.

If you’re there right now — overwhelmed, underconfident, unsure if this is even going to work…
Breathe.

You are building something brave.
Clients don’t come for perfection — they come for presence.

✨ This is My Becoming. ✨
Another year older, yes — but more importantly, another year wiser, softer, stronger, and more rooted in who I am becoming. 🌿

As the founder of The Psychicc Mantraa, I’ve held space for countless emotions — grief, hope, confusion, courage — and in doing so, I’ve learned to hold space for my own. 🫶🏽

I’m not just celebrating a birthday today —
🎂 I’m celebrating the quiet revolutions within me.
🔁 The versions of myself I’ve outgrown.
🌱 The healing that happened in silence.
🌀 The becoming that no one saw, but I deeply felt.

Therapists are humans too.
We’re healing while we guide healing.
We’re unlearning while we teach compassion.
We’re growing through the same soil we invite others to walk on. 🌸

So here’s to this version of me —
💫 The one who dares to rest.
💫 The one who sets boundaries with grace.
💫 The one who’s learning to receive love as much as she gives.

This is not a perfect version — it’s a becoming.
And I honour her, fully.
