IMPORTANT COVID-19 PATIENT & COMMUNITY SAFETY UPDATES

Your health and safety, as well as the health and safety of our staff and community, is our first and most important priority. We have taken many preventative steps already, and will continue to monitor the situation as things change.

Current COVID-19 Protocols in place:

All patients will be screened upon arrival of their appointment time to make sure they’re not exhibiting symptoms. We will also ask you to wash to your hands upon arrival. If a patient is presenting with COVID-19 symptoms, they will be advised to return home and contact their physician. All employees will be screened for COVID-19 daily.

As a trusted and leading health care provider, it is our goal to ensure you can continue receiving care with the confidence that we have taken every precaution necessary regarding your safety while in our center. Please limit the number of people who accompany you to your outpatient appointments, unless they are necessary for transportation or assistance. If for any reason you are not feeling well, please contact us.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Austin Marathon yesterday, incredible work!

Don't forget the following steps to help your body recuperate:

1. Take a few days off from running, your body will need it.
2. Get a massage or some body work done, including acupuncture. This helps your body recover from the stress.
3. Increase your protein and fat intake for a few days to help with the muscular repair that needs to occur after such a long race.
4. Make sure to hydrate, especially well for the next few days.
5. Look for your next marathon or other race!
