Congratulations to Dr. Michael Seemuller on receiving the 2025 Llewelyn Memorial Award! We’re honored to recognize your outstanding contributions to health care in South Carolina.

Congratulations to Dr. Michael Seemuller, our chief quality officer, on being named the 2025 Llewelyn Memorial Award winner by Constellation Quality Health, a nonprofit health care quality consulting organization that’s worked to honor outstanding achievements in the Carolinas for more than 25 years.

The award is presented annually to a South Carolina physician who’s made significant contributions to the practice of medicine and outstanding patient care.

“While I am truly honored to receive the award, I share the recognition with the thousands of AnMed teammates who impact lives in our community,” Dr. Seemuller said. “We are doing great things in our community, and I am happy to be part of that.”

It is with regret we announce the cancellation of the 2025 Hypertension Summit. The Administrative Committee agreed to cancel The Summit this year due to low response to communications and changes in federal legislation that we believe is and will continue to negatively impact attendance to the cohort this meeting was designed to reach.
