Enroute Angels turned 9 this week, precisely on May 28th.

At 28 years old I was already plummeting in life. Filled with self-doubt, money less, jumped into a new field, unemployed, and clueless. If you would have asked the 28 year old Charvee that just in 2 years she will find her purpose and she will begin her journey she would’ve laughed, because she had never witnessed magic / miracles in her life and so she would’ve never trusted.

They say it takes years for your life to turn around, but, in my experience, your life can turn around in a second, in a jiffy, because mine did. Multiple times.

You have been here witnessing me post wisdom, take a break, appear confused, change spiritual modalities - witnessed me through this journey that I am so proud of. And I thank you for holding space for me fam.

9 is my lucky number. Mars ruled. Saturn born. If you know astrology you can tell life for such souls is tough. I have been through rebirths a million times, experienced karmics and tower moments that felt like I will never recover but here I am - built and born from fire 🔥 learning to live in everyday courage.

Thank you for your trust, your time and your money towards Enroute Angels!

Here are 9 things I believe to be true ~

1. Life will break you - you will still rise if you wear courage in the face of it.

2. Friendships will be karmic, love will be karmic - let it happen to you. Let it fall off. Let it go. If it stays treasure it, it was always yours.

3. Nothing is written in stone - energies change, your life can change! Move beyond readings and astrological predictions.

4. If spirituality doesn’t change the way you live in this world, you must take a street level look at what you’re doing or not doing that needs change.

5. Surrender. Surrender. Surrender.

6. Forgiveness is acceptance of what happened to be able to take yourself out of the equation from what happened. Also, forgiving a perpetrator is NOT required to attain peace / closure.

7. When you feel helpless, help someone. Always always help someone.

8. Trust your dreams they are messages from your subconscious.

9. You matter. I see you just as you are!

When the season of bloom sets in, we embark on journeys that take us places. Navigating the oceans of fright, acquainting with rising and falling waves of persistence, we keep on the journey until we catch our drift.

What once looked distant and far-fetched is in front of us now. A glimpse into the horizon…

I wrote this 2 years ago but never posted. Now feels like the right time to revisit this.

Truths exchanged like hand-me-downs…

As a child the mirror was not my friend.
But a reflection of warnings -
Girls who linger too long here are empty vessels,
they said.
Girls who paint their faces, paint over their minds,
they said.
I learned to turn away.
The mirror gathered dust,
I wore my bare face like a badge of honour.
An armour against a world
that measured me,
by what it saw.

As a child, mirror was her shrine.
A canvas for the salvation she was promised.
Dab the powder, hide your flaws,
they said.
Don’t be ugly, be someone worth showing,
they said.
She learned to obey.
The mirror dictated her worth.
Layer by careful layer,
Until her reflection was no longer her own.
An offering to the world
that demanded perfection,
in place of acceptance.

And then there were the clothes….

Life, it seems, is built on beginnings.
The first glance, the first touch,
the first time we realize the world is bigger than the plans we made for it…

A heartfelt Christmas wish from me to you, from mine to yours…

Life is a journey of unwrapping. Each day, a small revelation; each breath, a chance to begin again. And as we gather beneath the lights, soft and glowing like a thousand tiny fireflies, we are reminded of what it means to belong.

Home is not always a place. Sometimes, it’s a hand reaching for yours, a voice that remembers your name, or the warmth of laughter spilling into the quiet. Home is love stitched together from imperfect moments, a shelter built from all the times we choose each other despite the mess and the ache.

Courage, then, is the gift we give ourselves when we dare to believe we are enough. It’s the hope that joy can find us even in the shadows, the faith that love is always worth the risk.

This Christmas, may you find your belonging, may you carry your home within you, and may joy light your way like the first star of the evening.
