Over the years, I have learned to value self-sustainability... fresh produce at my fingertips!!

You can grow anything on these towers other than root crops. Experiment and have fun with it!

Taking control of what we eat. 🍅🥬🥒🫑

No pesticides...

No herbicides...

My hands only...

The short answer is you can grow anything on the tower as long as it's not a root crop.

Lettuce and other greens are by far the easiest to grow, but you can grow all sorts of herbs, tomatoes, beans, peppers, cucumbers, etc. 🥬🥦🍅🥒🫑🌶

Have you ever considered the effect of eating leafy greens on the way you age?

In general, we are told to eat lots of fruits and veggies to maintain good health.🥬🥦🫒🍅🍐🍎

A friend recently sent me a clinical study that links eating leafy greens with the slowing of age-related cognitive decline. If eating more leafy greens helps, then you can bet, I'm all over this. 🧠🧠 🥬🥬

And guess what?? A great way to get lots of nutrient-dense leafy greens year-round is to grow them yourself!! 🥬🍅🥬

I've been growing our own produce for four years and loving it. You can't get greens fresher than that!

Hello my friends,
I thought it would be fun to get to know one another a bit better. So here goes - some things about me that you may not know:

1. I logged 10 dives in my scuba diving log book before I realized diving wasn't for me.🤿🤿
2. I'm afraid of birds! I like them perched in trees, but I have been dive bombed by an owl, crows, magpies, falcons, and red-tipped blackbirds. They seek me out! 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛
3. I was once afraid to hike in the mountains because I was afraid of being attacked by a bear. 🐻🐻
4. I crewed on a sailboat for 6 months, during which time we crossed the Atlantic Ocean from the Canary islands to Bridgetown, Barbados in 27 days.⛵️⛵️
5. I have 6 hours logged in my flight book. I only took flying lessons because my now-husband flew.🛩🛩
