What is pregnancy yoga nidra?
Yoga nidra or deep relaxation helps mother & her baby to recharge & relax body and mind. Decrease cholamine level & increase endorphin happy harmone..... That make hormonal balance of mother & baby.
How is yoga nidra beneficial during pregnancy?
There's some evidence that yoga nidra help mother to
👉become more aware of body
👉reduce tiredness and sleeplessness
👉relax and reduce stress and anxiety
👉get clarity of mind and thought
👉cope with labour pain
👉ease nausea
👉keep blood pressure in control
👉hormonal balance
All of this will help mother to stay positive throughout pregnancy. After baby is born, she can practice yoga nidra when her baby sleeps, either to de-stress herself, or to overcome other worries.
When she should practise yoga nidra?
may find it easier if choose a time when her energy levels are low.
In routine she can do it at afternoon or at night. After 2 hour of meal.
How do uperform yoga nidra?
Yoga nidra is an easy relaxation technique, but practice makes perfect. She should Speak to her doctor or pregnancy yoga teacher, who can teach her how to perform yoga nidra. Doctor also help her to choose a comfortable position that is safe for stage of pregnancy.
Traditionally, practising yoga nidra involves lying on back, in the pose of the co**se (shavasana). After 16 weeks pregnant, however, it's safest to lie on side, preferably left-hand side.
When she lie on back, growing baby may press on main blood vessels. This can make feel faint or dizzy, and it may reduce the flow of blood to her baby.
In the beginning, she may find it hard to dismiss thoughts and worries from her mind. She may struggle to stay awake and focus on her body, or she may even fall asleep. Don't worry about getting it right every time.
Eventually, she become so relaxed that she is able to clear her mind of thoughts, images and emotions.
Baby also enjoy this stage .....🤰. Yog nidra is really very important for mother & her baby . healthy mother confident mother & relaxed mother having .....physically & mentally fit baby.
