Alcoholics For Drugs

Alcoholics For Drugs Alcoholics for the decriminalization of all substances, the end to the "War on Drugs", and the end of psychedelic stigmatization.

This is the first chapter of a new support group, soon to be launched in Minnesota, for Alcoholics who may or may not participate in other sobriety support networks. We are different in that we believe all drugs should be decriminalized, so that people who suffer from addiction can find help instead of spending time in jail or prison. Additionally, we believe there is scientific merit to research

that shows there are therapeutic benefits in certain plants and mushrooms (psychedelics) for people who suffer from mental illness and/or addiction. We want to end the stigma, especially surrounding substances found within nature, that have, at the very least, been proven to be not harmful. Lastly, we are alcoholics, and we seek support through others', but it is difficult to find support through typical means due to the stigma surrounding psychedelics and the idea that "all drugs are created equal". Unlike other groups, we support the legalization of marijuana, the decriminalization of all substances, and further research on psychedelics.
