Parents & guardians is a positive parenting page promoting mindfulness for children. Mindfulness is a powerful skill and learning it from an early age could help children navigate the world better equipped to deal with challenges they may face. Mindfulness can help children to recognise their feelings and develops emotional intelligence. Parents play a big role in emotional regulation, parents can model the correct behaviour but also need to take some time out for themselves to be able to cope with the emotional needs of their children. We aim to help by providing useful positive information from reputable sources for parents and children. Practicing mindfulness is suitable for anyone of any age and the proof is in the pudding with several accomplished psychologists championing the practice.
