Unfortunately during the testing for the transplant center I was diagnosed with lung cancer and am no longer eligible for a transplant for at least 3 years (cancer free)

I guess I should put this profile on hold or something. Since I had the lung cancer I am not eligible for a transplant for 3-5 years.

Just figured I should update everyone. Dialysis is going okay. I will be having lung wedge resection with a possible segmentectomy or lobectomy (depending on what they find) on Friday. My PET scan lit up the nodule this time unfortunately. 😞

Just thought I should give everyone an update. I was supposed to start dialysis yesterday. Unfortunately my fistula was not accessible. I am going to have to have a chest catheter put in until it can be fixed. I also have been scheduled for a PET scan since until they remove my lung nodule we don't know what it is. A lot to process in a short time. 😪

No cancer detected in second lung biopsy. He will discuss it further with me at my follow-up 2/12.

Had my second lung biopsy yesterday. Rapid test was non diagnostic so waiting for results. Prayers appreciated!
So I had a lung biopsy last month. During testing I needed from the transplant center they found a nodule. Unfortunately the pulmonologist feels the biopsy was nondiagnostic and wants to repeat it. 😪 It only showed inflammation so he is not confident he got the nodule. I will keep updating.

Well...I found out my mom cannot donate a kidney to me so now I need help from whomever is willing! Please! 🙏❤️
