Did you know???

In 2025, we paid more than $5.3 million in taxes, including property, state, local, provider, and payroll taxes.

Although many hospitals operate as tax-exempt organizations, our unique ownership structure with Greater Watertown Community Health Foundation and ScionHealth keeps us a tax-paying entity.

That means in addition to delivering high-quality care close to home, we’re also contributing directly to the financial strength of our local and state communities through significant tax support.

It’s one more way we’re making an impact beyond patient care.

We are proud to partner with a new Wisconsin-based emergency physician group as part of our ongoing commitment to exceptional care close to home.

Like many hospitals across the country, WRMC partners with a specialized physician group to staff and lead our Emergency Department, ensuring patients have access to experienced emergency medicine physicians 24/7.

Our new group, Emergency Medicine Specialists, has built a strong reputation throughout Wisconsin as a group that provides high-quality care and attracts top-tier emergency medicine physicians.

We’re excited to note that current Watertown Emergency Department Medical Director, Dr. Robert Allen, has joined the new group as well as Dr. Mikko Sayre, who will continue serving as Medical Director of Watertown’s Ambulance Service.
