Effective & quality personal training both in-person & online (remote), in conjunction with nutrition & coaching programs to educate, support and better improve your quality of life and help you attain your fitness goals. We believe the basis of health and fitness is 100% about body composition, or the ratio between your percentage body fat and lean muscle mass. Our philosophy is to exploit your body's natural design via High intensity interval training (HIIT) to achieve kick-ass results within safety parameters. We also understand that education plays a big role in one's success, and it takes more than YOU to achieve your goals, having a team of professionals behind you makes a world of difference, and we provide just that. Our Online Fit-Programs are designed & revised by our strength and conditioning expert, our nutrition counsel is lead by our sport's nutritionist, our corrective exercise specialist is on hand to make sure we correct and address any exercise induced pain or discomfort, our behavioral change specialist is also available to help you break your unhealthy habits. However, the most important of all our qualities is our exceptional customer service & support, because your success is our success, your failure is our failure, and aNF does not fail!

Main targeted muscle group: Chest & Shoulders

Phase 3: VO2 max focus with higher volume.

NOTE: Make sure you perform a warm up beforehand and watch your form. Your joints should not hurt. Use modified exercises if you find it too hard. Hydrate and do not hesitate to take more rest if your body truly requires it.

Let’s talk about BEETS!

If you don’t already incorporate beets into your diet, you should! There is a long list of health benefits pertaining to this vegetable, including:

▫️High in vitamins and minerals (especially Vitamin B9)
▫️Nitrates - liked to improved athletic performance
▫️Anti-inflammatory properties
▫️High in fiber
▫️May lower blood pressure

Ways to eat them:
▪️In a salad
▪️As a side
▪️Use in a homemade dip
▪️Drink beet juice

Fun fact: There are also golden/yellow beets and green beets as well! 🤓

How do I stay lean?….. I get creative with my dinners. 👨🏾‍🍳 A lot of times I combine leftovers and/or snacks. Like here, I have chicken, stuffed cabbage, with some cheese and salami. A random combination but hits all my macros 💪🏾

Keep it simple y’all!! Make sure your plate has protein, some veggies, and some healthy fats! That’s all you need to do. There’s no one protein or carb that you have to have every day. Mix it up and try different combinations.

If you’re struggling to find balance between eating clean and a little indulgence, message me. It takes hard work and patience but eventually you will be able to achieve your fitness goals while also enjoying life at the same time ❤️🏃🏾

Did you know that red meat is more nutrient dense than chicken?

This is true! Red meat is packed with a bunch of micronutrients that you cannot get from eating plain chicken everyday.

Red meat contains plenty of:
-Protein
-Vitamin B3, B6, B12
-Iron
-Zinc
-Selenium

All important for healthy bodily function and performance! This is why it is a great food to rotate into your meal plan.

When buying red meat, focus on grass-fed, organic red meats. Also, the leaner the better (avoid fatty pieces).

Pair with a side salad or some potatoes and you have a very balanced meal! Enjoy 😍🥩🥗

There are many ways to cook salmon and so many great sides to go with it! Shown above is salmon, greens, and baby potatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and some fresh lemon juice!! Delicious and good for you.

Lifting heavier than the previous time in order to "bulk" up or build muscle has one flaw....It has a cap. The solution is not in the amount of weight you lift but in the philosophy of "Progressive overload".

Yes lifting heavier than before is a form of systemic stress but it isn't a smart one long term, you have your joint health to consider and even the muscles themselves along with the multitudes of knots you will accumulate.

Try a different route, go for volume instead. Supersets are one way to increase volume but you must always perform the muscle in its full range of motion at a steady tempo of 1 to 1.5 secs. Make no mistake, this isn't the same as "exercise till failure" which is a concept I disagree with, but that's for another story!

Combine:
💪🏾Chest press with push ups
💪🏾Pull ups (bicep grip) with barbell curls

Each muscle group has had its exercise volume increased without adjusting the "weight".

Your joints will thank you! work smarter, not harder, injuries aint cute, MKAY!
