Global Women on Wellness (GWOW) is a coalition of women from diverse professional backgrounds who are passionate about sustainable development in Africa and around the world. We realize the dangerous impact that many of the current policies and practices are having on our environment and ourselves and are determined to do our part in creating a healthy new world. With a special emphasis on rural development, holistic healthcare, women & children's issues and environmental preservation, we are now proud to introduce the Sol2Soular Cooker initiative as a new strategy for attaining global sustainability. The proper preparation and consumption of food remain two of the most fundamentally important behaviors human beings can engage in. Unfortunately however, for billions of people around the globe, these have become some of the most difficult and dangerous tasks also. As the worst effects of climate change and industrialism continue to alter the environmental landscape that people need to survive, drastic new food-related challenges are now threatening the lives of both people and the planet.
