🧠💪6 Steps for How to Stay Positive and Improve Your Life.💪🧠
💠Find the optimistic viewpoint in a negative situation: Rather than seeking to find the negative in a situation. Find the positive part that you can build upon. As minute as they might be, they can help you change your mindset. Focus on things like; your success, gratefulness, don’t try predicting the future, Challenge your negative thoughts. Small steps for a Bigger better you.
💠Cultivate and live a positive environment: You start with you and the places you immerse yourself into daily. If they are not promoting a healthy and happier lifestyle, then change it. Some things may be as small as starting your day with self-awareness techniques (meditation) and some even bigger like moving to new surroundings. But let’s try to mend what we have by loving yourself and the places you call home.
💠Go Slowly: Rome was not built in a day. Every day, with consistency you can mold your mindset to be a more positive version then it is now. Make a plan with short term and long-term goals. The small term goals should be done daily, and long term can be achieved in a week or more depending on the caliber of your change. Consistency over time will develop what you need. Like they say, “you are what you eat, well you are what you practice as well.”
When making goals be S.M.A.R.T.: Below is the breakdown of what S.M.A.R.T. stands for S= specific goals, M= measurable goals, A= Achievable goals, R= Realistic Goals, T= Time based goals. If you follow this protocol achieving goals will become much more rewarding and will happen more often. Planning can and will often help you to a greater version of you.
💠Align your goals with your Values: Your values are the things that you believe are important in the way you live and work. They (should) determine your priorities, and, deep down, they're probably the measures you use to tell if your life is turning out the way you want it to.
💠Be kind to yourself/ self-compassion: There are 3 main parts to self-compassion; self-kindness, mindfulness and common humanity.
A sense of Common Humanity is the recognition that everyone makes mistakes, and no one is without their weaknesses. Accepting that we are not alone in our suffering comforts us with inclusive feelings rather than alienation.
Self-kindness is the act of Self-compassion. Which entails being warm towards oneself when encountering pain and personal shortcomings, rather than ignoring them or hurting oneself with self-criticism.
💠Just Do it: this is not a trademark slogan for Nike but rather a mindset. Don’t put yourself in last place. Put yourself in first place and get to working on your goals and needs. Tomorrow will come but today is a present so unwrap it and utilize it to your fullest.
