The temperature is dropping and the nights are drawing in. Winter will soon be here.

FREE Home Energy check assessments whereby Age UK handy persons will check the temperature inside of homes, inspect heating systems and investigate drafts etc. Depending on the outcome, the handy person will fit appropriate energy saving equipment such as energy saving lightbulbs, reflective panels behind the radiator, socket timers and night lights FREE OF CHARGE. Appointments are free but availability is limited. Please, if you know of an elderly person who could benefit, get them to book an appointment.
