As many of you already know, many of my conditions have derived from me having severe epilepsy. As you all know Zavier is in ICU. Unfortunately at this time his dystonia has taken over, his brain is not telling his body to breathe the way it should, the signals are interupted and so far treatments have not worked. As a result it was decided today to re-intubate him so he can rest and the doctors can do more tests without stressing him further. He is sleeping peacefully and has a lot of love and support around him. We'll know more early next week so for now please join us in sending him warm positive healing energy ❤️❤️💜💜💚💚

!!!!TRIGGER WARNING!!!!

Hi everyone,
Yesterday was the worst scare of our lives.
Zavier went into a breath-holding episode and didn’t take another breath. We had to start CPR immediately. He was rushed to the closest hospital.
When we arrived at the hospital, it happened again. The doctors made the decision to intubate him and place him into an induced coma to help his little body rest and stay stable.
Today they removed the breathing tube. Sadly, shortly after it was removed, he went straight back into seizures and breath-holding episodes. The team had to manually bag him several times and give him emergency rescue medications. They were preparing to incubate him again, but he eventually settled and went back to sleep.
Right now, we are waiting to see what happens when he wakes up.
We are taking this minute by minute. Please keep Zavier in your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate every bit of love and support more than you know. 🤍

Like many people you may think that having epilepsy is just a matter of it being treated and controlled with a tablet or two. For many, this may be the case, but for me it's not that simple. Here is a timelapsed video of my mummy preparing my weekly medications (actual time was 26mins). Each day I have 22 different medications, over 6 times per day so my mummy makes sure they are prepared weekly and daily. Not all these medications are for my epilepsy, but they are necessary to treat my other conditions that have derived from my epilepsy being so severe. It is amazing how organised my mummy is in order to make sure I get the treatments that I need to keep me as safe as possible. Thank you mummy I love you and appreciate you very much.

UPDATE:
Although Zavier is needing oxygen most days since we got home from hospital on Christmas Day, he is doing well. We have a meeting with his school this week to get some plans in place so we can start transitioning him back to school hopefully very soon 😁
