My private and group clients know that I can go on and on and on about the power of the breath, but when this came up in my morning lecture I knew I just had to share it with you all.
When you feel overwhelmed or stressed or sad, pay attention to how you are breathing (if you are breathing...maybe you are holding your breath) and make a conscious decision to take deep belly breaths. Your nervous system will thank you!
