To the woman who has been trying so hard. đź’š

You have started over more times than you can count. You have followed the plans. Done the work. And still felt like something was missing.

Here is what I want you to know today...

You are not the problem.

True wellness was never meant to be just about your body. It was always meant to touch every part of you.
Your body. Your soul. Your emotions. Your rest. Your peace. Your spirit.

You were never meant to just survive your health journey. You were meant to THRIVE in it.

Save this if you needed to hear it today. đź’š

When was the last time you truly believed you are fearfully and wonderfully made? đź’š

Not the version you are working toward. Not the version that has it all together.

Thiversion. Right now. Exactly as you are.

Your body is not a project. It is a masterpiece.

And the way you care for it should reflect that truth.

Not as punishment. Not as obligation. But as praise. 🙌🏽

Happy International Women's Day sis! 🌿

God has a question for you today —

Why are you laboring for what does not satisfy?

You were created for abundance. Not just to survive but to truly delight.

You are seen. You are celebrated. You are deeply loved. đź’š

March is National Nutrition Month. 🌿

But we need to talk about something first.

Most of what you have been taught about nutrition has been focused on the wrong thing.

Eat this. Avoid that. Count these. Cut those.

And somehow, after all of that information, so many women still feel exhausted, frustrated, and completely disconnected from their bodies.

Why?

Because information alone does not create transformation. And nutrition was never meant to just be about food.

True nourishment touches every part of you...
what you eat,
yes, but also how you feel,
how you think,
how you cope when life gets hard.

For so many women I work with, the real struggle is not that they don't know what to eat. It's that their emotions are driving their relationship with food in ways they haven't fully understood yet.

This March we are not going on a diet. We are going on a deeper journey, one that looks at nourishment from the inside out.

If you have ever eaten when you weren't hungry or used food to cope with stress, loneliness, or overwhelm, this month is for you.

Stay with me. This is going to be a good one. 🤍

As Black History Month draws to a close, this reflection feels more relevant than ever.

"Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation." — Audre Lorde

A reminder we all need.

Rest is not laziness.
Stillness is not weakness.
Slowing down is not falling behind.

Sometimes, it is the most profound act of preservation...
of your energy,
your peace,
your emotional and physical well-being.

In a world that glorifies constant output and endless productivity, choosing to tend to yourself is a quiet, radical act of wisdom.

And more often than not, a necessary one. 🤍

🌨️ A blizzard showed up today, uninvited, unapologetic, and completely unconcerned with your plans.

And just like that, everything slowed down.

There is something about the rhythms of nature that gently remind us we were never meant to live at full speed all the time. Everything has its rhythm. And so do you.

So let me ask you… how often do you give yourself that same permission to slow down?

You are always moving, always producing, always pouring out. The to do list keeps growing. The calendar stays full. And rest can start to feel like something you must earn first.

But today, the storm did not ask. It simply stilled everything.

And it brings to mind a familiar scripture:

“Be still, and know that I am God.” - Psalm 46:10

The snowstorm created a pause many of us struggle to give ourselves.

As you step into this new week, receive this gentle reminder:

You do not need a blizzard to choose stillness.

Not because everything is finished.
Not because you have earned it.

But because your mind, your body, your spirit, and your soul need it, and you are worthy of that kind of care.

So whether snow is falling outside your window or the sun is shining bright, today is still a beautiful day to slow down.

Be still. And know. 🤍🙏🏾

Most women don’t think about stewardship when it comes to their health.
They think discipline. Willpower. Pushing harder.

But caring for the body God entrusted to you is something different.
It’s not about fixing.
It’s about honoring.

When you move through life disconnected from your body, you miss its quiet signals.
Fatigue becomes normal.
Stress becomes constant.
Hunger and fullness blur.

And eventually, the body looks for relief.
Often, that relief comes through food.

Not because you are weak.
Not because you lack discipline.
But because your body and your heart are asking for care.

Stewardship means listening earlier.
Pausing sooner.
Responding with gentleness instead of criticism.

When you learn to support your body this way, your relationship with food begins to shift naturally.
Not through force.
Through understanding.

If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone.

Not everyone chooses a word for the year. I do because it helps me stay grounded when life gets noisy. And I’ve learned that God doesn’t rush, so I’m learning not to rush either.

I didn’t hurry to share my word for the year. I wanted to sit with it, pray through it, and allow God to reveal it in His time, not social media’s timeline. That slower pace is part of the lesson itself.

The word that has settled in my spirit for 2026 is stewardship.

For me, stewardship is about honoring what God has already placed in my hands. My time. My energy. My resources. My health. My calling.

It is choosing to live with greater awareness, greater care, and deeper gratitude for all that has been entrusted to me.

This year, I feel invited to grow in practical faithfulness.
To be more mindful with my time.
More intentional with my resources.
More respectful of my body’s need for rest.
More thoughtful in daily decisions.

Not from pressure. Not from fear.
But from reverence.
From love.
From a desire to live in alignment with what God has given and what He is growing in me.

Stewardship is a quiet kind of devotion. A steady yes. A willingness to tend the life I’ve been given with care, humility, and purpose.

And I’m sharing this now, at my own pace, as a reminder to you too: you don’t have to rush your process.

You don’t have to follow the crowd. You’re allowed to listen, to wait, and to move in God’s timing.

Here’s to a year of steady growth, grounded living, and grace-filled stewardship. 🤍🙏🏾

If you’ve chosen a guiding word for 2026, I’d love to hear it.

Reclaim Your Abundant Health!

I am an Integrative Nutrition Holistic Health Coach and I help Christian Women Entrepreneurs like you step into their greatness to become the healthiest version of themselves so they can have more energy to show up and do the work God has called them to do. My main area of support is lowering the intake of processed and sugary foods, because I found this to be the main area many struggle with.

God has already given you His blessing in 3 John 2. He says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou may prosper and be in HEALTH, even as your soul prospers”.

As an entrepreneur who wears many other hats such as wife, mom, sister, friend, healthcare quarterback of your family, and everything in between it’s no wonder you are left with a lackluster effort when it comes to your own health. Unfortunately, that often means over consumption of processed and sugary foods, not getting enough sleep, just to name a few. I know this because I’ve been there. I especially understand the struggles when it comes to sugar.

But when you begin to understand that your body is the temple of God, you realize the importance of taking care of your well being first in order to effectively care for others. You’re no use to anyone when you’re stretched too thin and have no energy.
