1. What originally inspired you to pursue a career in massage therapy?
I was inspired to pursue massage therapy because I have always had a passion for helping others feel better, both physically and emotionally. I find it very rewarding to relieve pain, reduce stress, and help people reconnect with their bodies. Over time, I realized that massage therapy is not just a service, but a meaningful way to care for others and support their overall well-being.
2. How would you describe any specific treatments you recommend and what are the benefits?
I recommend treatments based on each client’s individual needs, such as deep tissue massage for chronic muscle tension, relaxation massage to reduce stress, and therapeutic techniques to improve circulation.
I also encourage my clients to support their bodies with simple wellness habits, such as staying well hydrated by drinking water with lemon and a pinch of salt to help support proper hydration and mineral balance. I also recommend Epsom salt baths, which can help relax muscles, reduce soreness, and promote overall recovery.
3. If a new patient is nervous about their first session, what is one thing you’d want them to know about the environment and the style you build with your clients?
I would want them to know that they are entering a safe, calm, and respectful environment. I take the time to listen carefully to each client and make sure they feel comfortable at all times. My approach is gentle, professional, and personalized, and I always encourage open communication so they feel relaxed, respected, and confident throughout their session.
4. When you aren’t at the clinic helping patients feel better, how do you most enjoy spending quality time?
When I’m not at the clinic, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and taking care of my dog, Mercy, who brings me so much joy. I also enjoy going for walks and relaxing at home.
On Sundays, I love going to church.
