True Love Yoga (formerly Karma Tribe Yoga) is Kansas City’s Premiere Pay-What-You-Can Yoga Studio with one physical beautiful, serene, and artistic locations and a virtual yoga studio. We provide a multitude of fun, safe, and trauma-aware yoga classes open to humans of all genders, races, sexual orientations, abilities, belief systems, and income levels. Our students enjoy our welcoming community and our talented, heart-centered teachers.

🌏 Qi Gong: Embracing the Earth Element 🌿

In Chinese medicine, late summer is the season of the Earth element—a time of grounding, nourishment, and balance. Just as the harvest brings abundance, the Earth element invites us to center ourselves, cultivate stability, and replenish energy.
In Qi Gong, embracing the Earth element means connecting with the body’s natural rhythms, harmonizing digestion (of both food and life experiences), and rooting deeply so we can move forward with steadiness. It’s about finding the sweet spot between giving and receiving, action and rest.

Release & Recenter: Myofascial Release for Fall

As the season turns and nature begins to slow down, take time to recenter and ground yourself with this rejuvenating 2-hour Myofascial Release workshop focused on the lateral lines of the body. These powerful fascial pathways help us maintain balance, ease in side-body movement, and postural stability—making them essential for navigating life’s transitions with grace. Through a nourishing combination of myofascial release techniques, mindful flow, and restorative relaxation, you’ll gently unravel tension from the outer hips, side body, IT bands, and rib cage, restoring freedom and fluidity. We’ll also include guided journaling and space for reflection, helping you align body, mind, and energy as we shift into the introspective season of fall.

Students can expect:
• Guided myofascial release to support the lateral lines of the body
• A gentle vinyasa flow to awaken and mobilize side-body strength and flexibility
• A deeply restful savasana with guided meditation
• Reflective journaling prompts to support seasonal integration and balance

Please Bring notebook and pen, All props provided. Students receive a 20% discount on RAD Myofascial Balls to continue their practice at home.

We can’t even believe how big and busy September is going to be here at the studio!
We’re celebrating our 10 year anniversary with lots of Love plus have some of our very favorite workshop series on the calendar as well.
