As a qualified counsellor, I provide a secure, confidential space to explore difficult experiences, feelings and emotions, without being judged.
I provide this space exclusively online, via video call, a method which research shows to be equally comparable in client experience and satisfaction as that of face-to-face therapy. (Dr Tim Kendall and Dr David Kessler, The Lancet Study).

Having travelled and lived overseas, I enjoy being with people from a range of different backgrounds. No matter your race, culture, sexuality, gender, ability / disability, nationality, faith / non-faith, or social background, you are welcome. I live with a disability - a type of Muscular Dystrophy – something which awakens me, daily, to the reality that life is difficult. I have found, however, that the greatest challenge in life is not always the difficulties themselves but rather how we live with them and how we find meaning and purpose within our circumstances. Over the years I have benefited from counselling and can honestly say that my life is richer as a result.
My experiences of disability, parenthood, travel, work and life in the modern world have meant that the online world has become second nature to me. I do not hesitate to offer counselling exclusively online because I've found great value in connecting with others in this way.
Since graduating from Lancaster University in 1999, I have spent my working life in a variety of pastoral / welfare settings, both in the UK and overseas. I qualified as a counsellor / therapist in 2008 from LST, an affiliate of Middlesex University, and worked for many years at the University of Winchester, counselling students. From there I went on to work as a Senior Counsellor for an NGO in Sydney, Australia before returning to the UK again to set up in private practise, offering counselling online. Without wishing to sound clichéd, it is always a genuine privilege whenever anyone chooses to embark on the counselling journey with me. Being trusted by another is both humbling and inspiring and I hope you will make contact.
