My coaching is about connecting with you and working together! Carolina believes that throughout life we evolve; eating habits and behavior changes.

As an integrated nutrition health and wellness coach Carolina will guide, support and empower you to adjust eating habits and behaviour to meet your needs and goals for a healthy lifestyle. What was important and beneficial in our younger years will not serve us as we age. Looking at your current lifestyle in a holistic way is basic for vital and optimal life. The key lies in making choices for good quality and quantity of food that nourishes your body at cellular level. Food is the foundation and the catalyst to a healthy and balanced lifestyle. It is about you as an individual – what attacks you and make you feel happy and fulfilled. Passion for nutritious food, cooking and making right choices leads to a healthier life. Nourishing your body with good nutrition brings balance to your organs, tissues and cells. Our body is a perfect biological machine; when given the right care and providing the right raw materials will excel in it's performance.

The act of sitting around a table carries deep meaning — it embodies the traditions, culture, values, and rituals that unite us as humans.

In setting a table, two essential considerations guide the process: the purpose and mood, —the theme and color palette.

For the first workshop;

The purpose and mood centered on cultural and personal expression. Participants were invited to explore their creativity by blending Islamic objects from the Museum of Islamic Art with contemporary design elements from restaurant.

The atmosphere was enhanced by the stunning flowers from .qa , whose variety added color and life to the event.

Theme and Color Palette
 The concept drew inspiration from a flourishing garden — a celebration of diversity, beauty, and elegance. Islamic patterns, ranging from geometric and arabesque to calligraphic, girih, and star designs, intertwined seamlessly with modern tableware, capturing the harmony between heritage and contemporary aesthetics.

The stunning bay view from the Museum of Islamic Art set a magnificent backdrop for this remarkable event.

The ongoing exhibit
“A Seat at the Table” at the Museum of Islamic Art in Qatar celebrated the deep connection between tradition, culture, cuisine, and the profound significance of gathering around the table.
In collaboration with the Museum of Islamic Art and IDAM restaurant by Alain Ducasse, COMPLEMENTS comes to life through three inspiring workshops, during which our book
- Traditions • Food • The Art of Setting the Table - was showcased.

IDAM, designed by Philippe Starck, features stunning décor and an exquisite selection of table elements that embody both elegance and timeless simplicity.
Together with the dedicated team - and from the Museum, and IDAM’s Chef Fabrice Andre Laslo and his team - the first workshop was held on IDAM’s breathtaking terrace, framed by the stunning bay view of Doha.

An exclusive collection of crystal glassware from Philippe Starck’s collection set the tone for the evening, complemented by Islamic art objects provided by the Museum.
Complemented by a stunning selection of flowers .qa florists.
The table setting reflected both cultural and personal expression, blending elements of Islamic heritage with contemporary design.

A dream brought to life!

With my daughter, .photograph Michelle, her lens meets my words — weaving light, color, and emotion into “COMPLEMENTS.”

Around the table, humanity finds its rhythm — in the sharing of food, stories, and values that transcend borders. Since its launch, our book has journeyed across the world, carrying that spirit.

Now, with the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha collaboration, its spirit comes alive in a special workshop.

Because sitting around the table is not just a habit — it’s a celebration of what it means to be human.

On February 13, 2025, I stood in Van Rossum bookstore in Amsterdam and launched COMPLEMENTS — my coffee table book and a piece of my heart. Surrounded by friends and family, I spoke of my greatest hope: that this book would travel far and wide, touching lives around the world.

I’m so thankful to everyone who has supported this dream — those who’ve bought the book, placed it in their homes, and shared it with others.

Since that day, it has journeyed through Europe, the United States, Aruba, Shanghai, Qatar, Egypt, and Canada.

And now, after months on the road, the books have made it to Bogotá, Colombia.
It brings me such joy to finally place this book into the hands of my loved ones there — who have waited with open arms and open hearts.

COMPLEMENTS is a self-published book that weaves my personal story with the extraordinary photography .photograph Michelle Levie. Her visuals breathe life and elegance into every page, creating a meaningful and beautiful experience for readers.

A casual lunch table on the terrace, bathed in sunlight and surrounded by sculptural cacti. The table is simple yet welcoming—set with natural textures, mismatched ceramic plates in blue tones, and linen napkins embroidered with a crab. A pitcher of chilled water with lemon slices catches the light.
It’s a space made for laughter, for stories, for slowing down. The cacti stand quietly around, like green guardians, while the sky stretches wide overhead.

There’s something magical about a summer lunch shared with friends.

The table becomes a place of connection, good conversation, and delicious flavors.

Inspired by the stunning view of the Mediterranean, the table is dressed in ocean blues. Placemats and plates from are beautifully matched with handcrafted napkin rings from Colombia.

The menu? Full of fresh, Mediterranean flavors: Lubina in a delicate caper sauce, sweet rosa tomatoes carpaccio, and thinly sliced zucchini carpaccio with Parmigiano and pine nuts. A colorful red lentil salad with feta adds a delightful contrast.

To finish—chilled watermelon with mint and lemon, the perfect summer treat. My all-time favorite.

I’m incredibly thankful and honored to have “COMPLEMENTS” showcased in this iconic and beautiful library, recognized by the Financial Times as one of the 20 best libraries in the world.

Together with my daughter and photographer .photograph Michelle Levie, we enjoyed a fantastic evening with friends.
