Dr Daniel Chang is an experienced physician with a profound passion for beautifying people.He is dedicated to educating patients and teaching fellow medical professionals in

aesthetics and dermatology. As a physician trainer, he actively shares his clinical knowledge with fellow doctors and dentists regionally, on threadlift, filler, botox and laser work. And a glimpse into his Personal and not so Private life || =P

Dr Daniel is a Catholic, devoted husband and father of 3 bohemian princesses. When he is not busy chasing after his kiddos, Daniel is dreaming about retiring in a great big farmhouse at the foot of a hill, where a freshwater stream flows, trouts fly, and sheep dance across the sky. Also, he always wanted to do graffiti art at a friend’s house, so dearest friends, beware. He is a firm advocate of mental health issues, raising awareness for what truly matters. He is with a think-tank of likeminded surgeons and physicians regionally and loves curling up on his sofa with a simple good read.

Today is World Mental Health Day 10.10. Now mental health has always held a special place in my heartThe complexities of it cannot be adequately expressed in a few lines on IG.
Looking back, I started during Covid, to address workplace burnout, depression and anxiety. Having been at the receiving end of this for some time.
Together under the guidance and wisdom of Prof Goh Lee Gan
(who taught me so much about life, people and the world), and the immense help from .grace.loh and her team of psychologists, we came together, as a team of doctors, influencers and PMETs.
Our mission was:
Every mind Matters
Remember, it’s in the hard times that we shine the brightest.
We are a team of volunteers and we invite, welcome, and support those who face mental health challenges and are feeling lost

We built our team into 3 workgroups

1. Ambassador Team – Creating awareness through sharing stories, creating a common identity, connecting people
2. Builders Team – Sharing self care skillsets in the workplace thru talks, workshops
3. Clinical Team – Administering psychological first aid to at risk youths
Running a probono team was never easy. We faced several challenges, I pi**ed off a host of people, and made an avalanche of mistakes, which I still look back from time to time, with immense regret. Thankfully, my mentor was there to remind me… *Its always good to remember that the life in front of us, is more important than the life behind us*
So I leave u with this.
Let us work to destigmatise mental health. Let us work to normalise conversations. And let us work to be that beacon of hope, especially for those who feel alone and hopeless.
Because there is no health without mental health.
