With new snow, now trails and sun what else could make better day for ladies at Women's Program?
A lot of drills, playful drills and skiing.
I even had little bit of time to squeeze in some downhill turns.
Today was fabulous day with a lots of improvement and even more smiles.

Sunday night I had interesting experience of food poisoning myself (I believe with very bad orange). Anything what was in my GI track went out which left me with pretty much no energy for Monday. Lucky I was able to keep it down some easy food - GF toast, 3 bananas, and whole milk Greek yogurt. Best think I would do for my body was sleep so I slep as much as I could and results - I feel so much better have apetite again and way more energy to tackle my long day of work and supplement training.
And speaking about supplements - cause my GI track needs some support to rebuild itself with good bacteria, I will start with new probiotics to help it as well as to boost my immune system.
Have a wonderful day and stay away from rotten food.

Today I was looking forward to share picture of my recovery shake. It was so delicious that before I knew it it was gone.
Today I went to Orange Theory Fitness class to see what it's all about. It was fun with good challenge. It was fun and I can imagine myself to do I more in order to be in better shape for my nordic skiing. Hour of good workout needs recovery fuel, if you skip on that part you just wasted your workout. Recovery fueling is one of the most overlooked meal. What happens after your exercise has same importance as workout itself. Feel free to contact me if you wish to know more.

One of the lunches Chef Ivana cooked for Women's Days at Eldora Mountain Resort. We had delicious butternut squash soup, roasted Brussel sprouts and cauliflower, mushed root veggies and organic chicken. Salad of mix green, bell pepper, cucumber and tomatoes didn't make it into the picture.
Lunches like this are wonderful fuel between two 2 hours session on skis/snowboard.

Today I decided to make something little different for breakfast, just because I had more time. Our son Leo enjoyed Cauliflower pancakes a lot, especially when I made them into a sandwich with butter (one of his favorite foods) and avocado. These cakes are gluten free, can be make grain free (paleo). This time I add little bit of cooked grain mixture (buckwheat, millet, quinoa and amaranth) to make it more pancakes.

Oh my, another baking project. Besides coconut I also love almonds and raspberries and my second favorite between from berries family (blackberry is #1).
So if recipe involves almonds and coconut I have to try it, especially when my son would like to bake some muffins. Tomorrow is going to be busy day in our kitchen.

The perfect lunchbox treat for the little ones, free of any gluten and refined sugar, so no need to worry about that crazy sugar high!
