Welcome to post #5 of: "A Day in the Oily Life...One Oil at a Time"! Let's chat about the benefits & uses of Lemon Essential Oil (both Lemon & Lemon Vitality!)! Here are my Top 10 Daily Uses for this helpful EO!

*Skin Care:
~ Add Lemon EO to your facial scrub for additional skin
support!
~ Teens! Add Lemon EO to your daily moisturizer to reduce
the appearance of blemishes...works amazingly & without
all of the added synthetic, chemical-based ingredients that
are unfortunately added to so many blemish creams out
there...remember whatever we put on our skin is directly
absorbed into our bodies!
~ Apply Lemon EO (with a carrier if needed) directly to those
rough areas of skin for softening/smoothing!
~ Using Lemon EO, create a sugar scrub for your entire body
leaving it amazingly soft, smooth & lemony fresh :)

*Cleaning:
~ Lemon EO is outstanding for removing the stubborn stuff...
gum...labels/stickers...crayon...tough stains!
~ Add Lemon EO to your everyday spray bottle (mine is
usually a combo. of Lemon EO, Thieves Cleaner & water).
~ A few drops of Lemon EO on a wet cloth (I use lint free)
works amazingly to clean your windows or ANY glass
surfaces!
~ Add a few drops of Lemon EO to your dishwasher (the
liquid rinse compartment)...shines your glasses & dishes
(instead of having to use all of the chemical-based rinses)
& smells fresh & clean!

*Ingestion: All of the vitality oils are specifically made for ingestion! Lemon Vitality is what I use when I add to ingestible items! (side note...Lemon EO contains a little something called "d-Limonene"...I'll just leave this right here- PLEASE do your research on this amazing natural compound!)
~ Add a drop of Lemon Vitality to a tall glass of cold water &
drink up the benefits!
~ Add to dressing, marinades, etc...I love making my spinach
artichoke dip with a couple of drops of Lemon Vitality...SO
GOOD!
~ This next use is a little creation that I use on the daily,
during these seasonal months (and what I'm presently
drinking while creating this post)! Add 2 drops of Lemon
Vitality, 1 drop of Ginger Vitality, 1Tbsp of local honey &
warm water...believe me when I say, WELLNESS TEA!!

*And, of course, I always recommend diffusing Lemon EO for a fresh, clean, uplifting scent! I typically will combine it with other citrus oils and sometimes Lavender!

That wraps up my personal favorite uses for Lemon & Lemon Vitality Essential Oil! Pretty sure I went over my 10 uses goal...& yet so many other uses for the versatile EO!

Welcome to post #4 of: "A Day in the Oily Life...One Oil at a Time"...today I want to talk about the many benefits & uses of RC. This starter kit oil is a blend of 3 variations of Eucalyptus, Myrtle, Pine, Marjoram, Lavender, Cypress, Black Spruce and Peppermint! RC provides perfect support for both the Respiratory & Immune systems of the body! I mean, who doesn't need that kind of support during this time of year!?

Here are my Top 10 Uses (not necessarily "daily", but close ;) ) for RC Essential Oil:

*Diffuse! Diffuse! Diffuse! RC is both uplifting & supportive of those body systems that need a little boost this time of year!

*Rub RC (with a carrier oil...coconut, jojoba, grape seed, etc.) on chest or feet before hitting the gym or going for a walk, etc.!

*Add about 4-5 drops of RC to a bowl of hot water; tent a towel over your head & BREATHE in the oily steam!

*Add 2-3 drops of RC onto a warm neck/shoulder compress (I love my bean-based neck wrap)...this feels & smells AMAZING!

*My top favorite use for RC is to add this as my primary oil when creating my own, chem.-free/petroleum-free chest/vapor salve! I add this to my kids' feet & chests as well during those challenging winter months!

*Add several drops of RC to your warm shower & inhale to help support your breathing!

*Another shower time creation I like to use is RC-based shower melts! These are a simple creation of baking soda & RC that slowly melt on the shower floor, releasing the respiratory benefits of this essential oil!

*Along that same line, try adding RC & Epsom Salt to a mason jar...at bath time, pour a handful of this mix under your bath faucet while drawing your bath...soak...relax...breathe & enjoy!

*Combine RC with a carrier oil (also makes a great roll-on) & apply directly to the throat to help support that area of the body...Tis' the Season ;)

*Lastly, RC does WONDERS when used (with a carrier oil) for a full body massage! Especailly, when your respiratory and immune systems need some attention!

That's it! My personal Top 10 uses for RC Essential Oil! It's the perfect time of year to have this bottle of wellness on hand!
