Did you know the human eye can recognize more shades of green than any other color? It’s in the middle of the wavelengths the cones perceive and decipher as color. It’s also interesting to me that generally speaking, the color associated with our heart center or anahata chakra, is green. Pictured here are big tooth aspen leaves as they begin to unfurl, silvery green and fuzzy. Green crystals and stones are also some of my favorites.

Ebb and flow. I find these beads to be so soothing. Like watching the waves come and go. Or watching the tall grass wave in the breeze. I have made a number of sets now that follow the phases of the moon. This has the same number of beads, but rather than black and white, these are soft greens and blues, hints of brown and orange. They are big 10mm polished fancy jasper, the end or marker bead is a big faceted Montana agate rondelle shape.
There are no rules on how you can use beads. They could be an altar decoration for moon or earth goddess practice. They could be for prayer, in whatever form that looks like to you. They could be for a mantra or affirmations. What I want for them is to be Hope to Hold for someone.
Every piece I do is chosen intuitively and hand made with care. This set is hand knotted - 2 knots between for extra space- on cream colored silk. The strings are long because I like them on my own sets. If you don’t like them, a dab of super glue on the knot and you can snip them off.
If these or other beads I’ve posted call to you, send me a note. I do custom sets as well. Check highlights for more.

I love Amazonite! There are a number of variations and they have such a sweet energy. This is Brazilian Amazonite and has the beautiful blue greens but also grounding blacks and creams. There’s even a little pyrite on a couple of the black ones. This set is inspired by The Fool, the 0 card of the major arcana of the Tarot. Some of the keywords for The Fool are hope, beginnings, adventure. Amazonite is a stone of hope & motivation. The end bead and marker are Green Aventurine. A stone of luck and opportunity.
There are 77 Brazilian Amazonite of 8mm round and rondelle shapes, a Green Aventurine flower marker and a large faceted end bead.
How do you connect with The Fool energy ?

Continuing to play with Tarot major arcana themes and crystals. This is The Sun. Ok so maybe you’re thinking this is too obvious - the faceted tiger eye looks like literal drops of sunshine. Stay with me now. Some of the key words for The Sun are Joy, Success, Vitality. Tiger eye can boost confidence, bring luck, increase vitality. The space marker is a Crazy Lace Agate flower bead. This is a stone of joy and vitality too. The stripes on it remind me of the banner in the Smith-Waite deck and the flower a reminder of the sunflowers. This set would be great for meditation, especially if you can sit somewhere that has the sunshine reflecting on the facets, like watching the flame of a candle.

Do you work with the phases of the moon? Have an altar to a goddess associated with the moon? Want to meditate about a life phase or changes in your life? These are 2 sets of beads inspired by the cycle of moon from full to dark and back. One starts with a faceted clear quartz and the “full” phase. The other starts with a faceted black tourmaline as the “dark” phase. The phases are tourmaline in quartz. There are so many properties associated with clear quartz. Considered a master healer and a perfect vessel for programming your intention or manifestation. It has a wonderful vibration and structure. Black tourmaline has a beautiful fibrous structure and grounding energy. It’s one of my favorite crystals for energetic protection. It’s thought to be able to transmute negative energies and purifying it.
Some ways these could be used: for meditation, prayer, or repetition of an affirmation. They could be used on an altar or perhaps as part of a candle spell. Carrying it with you when traveling or in an uncomfortable situation could be programmed to help you feel safe and secure. The phase beads are 10mm and hand knotted on silk cord.
How do you connect with moon energy?

The Moon tarot card inspired beads - for prayer, meditation, or altar space. Inspired by the Smith-Waite deck, with its two pillars, blue background, wolf, dog, and crawfish. The traditional Smith-Waite Tarot card for The Moon shows the wolf and the dog. I’ve used the matte larvikite and polish labradorite to represent the two sides. The place marker for the 19th major arcana is a faceted lepidocrosite in quartz as a representative of the crawfish. As a stone of inner transformation, larvikite connects with that subconscious vibe of The Moon. The Moon is also about change as the phases of the moon show us. Larvikite can help us to adapt to change and see how it can help us. It is also a grounding stone and one which can reduce feelings of anxiety. Allow the flash of labradorescence in the Labradorite to show you that you are worthy of shining brightly too. Let your light radiate brightly, like the full moon. Lepidocrosite is a heart connected stone, and can let you be open to love - be it self love or the love of others. The Cloudy Quartz coin resembles the moon in shape and color, but it is also grounding and one which helps one to let go of negative feelings.
39 8.5mm Labradorite, 38 8.5mm matte Larvikite, 1 8mm faceted Lepidocrosite, 10mm Cloudy Quartz coin, hand knotted between each on blue silk cord.

Continuing on my attempt to create meditation beads inspired by the Tarot, I bring you: The High Priestess. 78 beads, half aquamarine and half labradorite. The 2 halves, like the two pillars. Watery, Moon energy. The place in the order, marked by a faceted quartz coin. The end a faceted black tourmaline.
