Hello friends. This resonated with me today and I felt compelled to share it. An excerpt from the book "No Cure for Being Human" by Kate Bowler:

"The truth {of these times} is the truth of all suffering: that it is unjustly distributed. Who bears the brunt?

The homeless and the prisoners.
The elderly and the children.
The sick and the uninsured.
Immigrants and people needing social services.
People of color and LGBTQ people.

The burdens of ordinary evils - discrimination, brutality, predatory lending, illegal evictions, and medical exploitation - roll back on the vulnerable like a heavy stone. All of us struggle against the constraints placed on our bodies, our commitments, our ambitions, and our resources, even as we're saddled with the inflated expectations of invincibility.

This is the strange cruelty of suffering in America, its insistence that everything is still possible.

God, let me see things clearly. I must accept the world as it is, or break against the truth of it: my life is made of paper walls...and so is everyone else's."

Back by popular demand....COMMUNITY YOGA! 💫

The schedule is flushed out to get us through these cold winter months and into the spring thaw together!

Jot these dates down TODAY for once-a-month, Sunday afternoon community yoga at The Ole Store Restaurant! Let's come together in this charming neighborhood space to create space for intention and breath amidst the chaos.

This yoga class is always FREE for Ole Store staff and only $10 for community members! Bring your own mat (although mats will be available for use as needed so don't let not having a mat stop you from coming! We got ya covered!), bring a friend, and we'll see you at 4pm on Sunday!

2024 REFLECTION
"Friendships, relationships, and passion projects need effort but they should not feel forced. Things shouldn't feel like you're pushing a stone up a hill. Let go where you need to because that makes room for new connections and opportunities." - Yung Pueblo

As I look back on the past year, I am so deeply grateful for the connections and opportunities that transpired. Through these relationships, we came together to provide hope, love, and community in a sometimes divided world. Where we reminded ourselves and others that we are never alone.

While it goes without saying that relationships are not always easy, when they are rooted in communication, mutual respect, and a genuine self-less desire for the other to thrive, it results in an environment where everyone is lifted. I am lucky to say that this has proven to be the case in my professional connections as well.

Thank you to all that have trusted in me and partnered with me this past year to spread the love and connection. Let's keep spreading the love in 2025!

Hello friends! Soon the New Year will be upon us and I invite you to reset into grounding and intention setting...

IT'S NOT TOO LATE! There's still space available at the sacred getaway I'm offering at the end of January for those looking to connect with nature and oneself through holistic practices of hygge, creative expression, Nordic sauna/cold-plunge, trauma-conscious yoga, forest bathing, skiing/snowshoeing (equipment provided), and MORE!

Everything offered is optional; never required.

WINTER RESET YOGA RETREAT
On the edges of the BWCA in Ely, MN
Dates: January 30 - February 2, 2025
Time: Arrive anytime after 4pm on Thursday and depart by 11am on Sunday.

This will be a gentle offering at the end of January to pause and reset as you navigate into the rest of the year ahead. Come to nurture your soul and rest.

This 2-day, 3-night retreat offers simple spaces to sink in allowing you to fully embrace relaxation and spaciousness. You will feel nourished and tended to through offerings of stillness, intentional somatic movement, self-reflection and the joy of simply being amongst the pines on the shores of Burntside Lake.

WINTER SOLSTICE
Darkness is a reminder that the light will be upon us again...

In the meantime, the darkness has much to teach us. It holds deep wisdom and the guidance of softening in.

The winter solstice reminds us that darkness is not to be feared, but honored as a vital part of the cycle of growth and transformation.

It is a celebration of the Earth's rhythms and all that these rhythms can teach us. It is a time to pause and align with nature's deep rest, allowing ourselves to recharge for the journey ahead. Because nothing in nature is constantly producing or moving.

Rest is essential to our vitality.

Embrace this sacred pause, my friends. May it teach us all the importance of patience, trust in the unseen, and the interconnectedness of all life.

Be in it.
Grow from it.
Rest into it.
