Subject: [Coronavirus]Lifestyle and Supplements that Boost Your Immune System
In addition to the recommendations from CDC, in my opinion, the best way to prevent catching the Coronavirus is to boost your immune system and reduce the number of assaults your immune system has to deal with.
The fewer toxins, bacteria or foreign substances your immune system has to deal with on a daily basis, the more ammunition it will have to combat the Coronavirus if exposures do occur.
I highly recommend you incorporate the following lifestyle and dietary suggestions to reduce the burden and stress on your immune system.
1. Your indoor air is often more polluted than the air outside. Open your windows for at least 30 minutes a day or leave a small crack to reduce indoor pollution. This will relieve your respiratory system having to work harder to filter indoor pollution.
2. Stay hydrated. Drink at least half of your body weight in ounces. Water carries toxins out of the body and drinking more of it could help prevent toxins from building up and having a negative impact on your immune system.
3. Don’t overeat. Overeating stresses your digestive system. Digestion requires a tremendous amount of resources which takes away from resources needed to support your immune system.
4. Reduce inflammatory foods such as vegetable oil, fried foods, ice cream, pasta, pastries, acid-forming foods, highly processed foods, and foods contain preservatives, artificial flavorings, and colorings. Your immune system has to work extra hard and spend resources to remove and deal with these chemicals that have no place in your body.
5. Eat as much organically grown produce as possible. Herbicides and pesticides spread on produce depletes and burdens your immune system and reduces its efficiency.
6. Get some sunshine every day. Georgetown University Medical Center researchers have found that sunlight, through a mechanism separate from vitamin D production, energizes T cells that play a central role in human immunity.
7. Eliminate refined carbs, alcohol, wheat, and corn because they are acid-forming, heavily sprayed with pesticides and suppress your immune system.
8. Use mushroom and herbs that boost your immunity - astragalus, echinacea, licorice, lemon balm, and Sh*take, Reishi, Maitake, Chaga, Cordyceps, and Turkey Tail mushroom. They are available to consume in tea or powder form. You can also include fresh Sh*take and Maitake mushrooms in various dishes.
9. Use spices in your kitchen such as ginger, garlic, cinnamon, basil, oregano and turmeric to spice up your immune system.
10. Get 7 to 9 hours of sleep daily. Without sufficient sleep, your body makes fewer cytokines, a type of protein that targets infection and inflammation, effectively creating an immune response.

Supplements
The following are high-quality professional-grade supplements I use and recommend to enhance general immune function. Please consult your health care providers anytime you start a new supplement regimen.
1. Vitamin D from Thorne. Since vitamin D plays a role in regulating the immune system, it may also have a positive influence on immune-related conditions such as acute and chronic respiratory complications and may help to diminish their symptoms when they occur.
2. Liposomal Vitamin C from Dr. Mercola or Quicksilver Scientific. Vitamin C is essential for healthy immune system response. It stimulates both the production and function of white blood cells.
3. Colloidal Silver from Result RNA. This naturally occurring element is also prized for its antimicrobial properties and as such has been used since ancient times to treat infections and heal wounds. Silver has been shown to destroy the SARS coronavirus and MRSA when taken internally and nebulized. (Study).
4. Zinc from Thorne. Scientists determined in human cell culture and animal studies that a protein lures zinc into key cells that are first-responders against infection. The zinc then interacts with a process that is vital to the fight against infection and by doing so helps balance the immune response. (Study).
5. Biocidin Throat Spray from Bio-Botanical Research. The nasal/pharynx region is said to be one locus of infection for upper respiratory disorders, and addressing this area directly is an important part of supporting healthy respiration.
6. Daily Immune by Pure Encapsulations. Daily Immune contains a broad spectrum of pure, all-natural immune-supporting ingredients. It contains a healthy amount of zinc with many other helpful nutrients found in extracts from elderberry and maitake mushroom. It has no additives or fillers and is vegan-friendly.
7. Liver Support from Gaia Herbs. The liver is a key, frontline immune tissue. Ideally positioned to detect pathogens entering the body via the gut, the liver appears designed to detect, capture, and clear bacteria, viruses, and macromolecules. It’s crucial to keep this vital and overworked organ nourished at all times.
8. Astragalus from Gaia Herbs. Astragalus contains beneficial plant compounds that may enhance your immune system. Some evidence shows that astragalus may increase your body’s production of white blood cells, which are the cells of your immune system responsible for preventing illness.
I don’t recommend you purchase supplements from Amazon if the supplements are not sold directly from the manufacture. There have been fake supplements that are sold on Amazon.
