Ever wondered how we decide who’s on call for after-hours emergencies? It all starts with a little friendly competition at our annual "on-call draft." 🏈📋

This weekend, our doctors gathered to map out the schedule for the year ahead. Fun fact: Dr. Hesemann acts as our commissioner, keeping everything running smoothly! 🏆 And here’s a little behind-the-scenes scoop: doctors who volunteer to take call over the holidays receive fewer on-call shifts the rest of the year. If there’s competition for those holiday spots, it’s all settled with a good old-fashioned card draw ♠️♥️♦️♣️.

🌟 Join us in welcoming Dr. Jill Radkowiec to the Missouri Eye Consultants family! 🌟

We're excited to have Dr. Jill as part of our growing team of optometrists. A local to Mid Missouri, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for full-scope optometry, with special interests in specialty contacts, myopia management, and dry eye treatment.

When she’s not in clinic, Dr. Jill loves spending time with her husband and three daughters or being outdoors biking, running, or hiking. An animal enthusiast, she also has several very spoiled family pets!

For our California patients, you might remember her from her time practicing with Dr. Vanderfeltz about 10 years ago back when Dr. Byrd was just a technician.
