Marissa Fratoni, BSN, RN, CMT, RYT, INHC has helped people walk their own healing paths while accounting for each individual’s own needs as a whole human. She is a holistic nurse and multi-disciplined health practitioner specializing in women/maternal health and behavioral health. Marissa is well-versed in complementary and alternative healing modalities including primary, patient-focused nursing,
massage therapy, yoga and mindfulness practices, integrative and functional nutrition, and cannabinoid therapeutics. She has participated in the advancement of cannabinoid research for nurses and other health professionals as an active committee member with the American Cannabis Nurses Association (ACNA). She was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the ACNA and currently serves as Chair of the Social Media Committee. Marissa is a writer for several cannabis publications and she is a contributing author for the first cannabis care nursing textbook Cannabis: A Handbook for Nurses. She has worked as dispensary manager in a medical cannabis facility and also with a medical cannabis certifying health provider as a telehealth nurse. Marissa helps people seeking relief from chronic conditions navigate the often murky waters that is the current cannabis space. Through her experiences, she has seen many of her patients’ quality of life improve greatly when cannabis therapy is implemented with guidance and oversight from qualified, supportive health professionals who prioritize the well-being of the patient.
