We have been asked the same question several times, thought we will post on here to clarify to those of you looking for the same answer

Does Hijama break your fast?

Answer

Hijama cupping does NOT break the fast, but we still advise you to avoid if possible as their is less intake of food and drink during the day

Ibn Abbas (may Allah swt be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger (peace be upon him) was cupped while he was fasting - Sahih Bukhari (5694)
