When speaking to an individual surrogate, however, we encourage you to take a moment to consider the questions you want to ask and how you are framing them. Questions about money, morality, and biology can be hurtful or invasive, even when they come from genuine curiosity or misunderstanding. 🙊

When in doubt, try broad questions like:
💬 Are you open to talking about your experience as a surrogate? What was it like?
💬 What are your biggest takeaways from this experience so far?
💬 What have you learned about yourself in this process?
💬 How have you been supported throughout your surrogacy journey?
