🎉✨ Happy New Year from Connecticut Children’s!✨️ 🥳

As we celebrate 2026, our hearts are full of gratitude and hope. This December, we cut the ribbon on our largest expansion ever — an 8-story clinical Tower designed for families, healing, comfort, and discovery. From private NICU rooms and expanded fetal care to spaces filled with light, art, and imagination, this Tower represents our promise to kids and families across Connecticut and beyond.

Here’s to a year of growing stronger together, unlocking new possibilities, and caring for every child with compassion and excellence. 💙🏥

What started as a joyful twin pregnancy took an unexpected turn.

When Felecia and Jacob learned one of their twins had a rare diagnosis, their maternity doctor connected them to Connecticut Children’s Fetal Care Center—where our dedicated team walked beside them through every moment of uncertainty, surgery, and hope.

From the NICU to home, Sophie and Ophelia’s journey is one of resilience, teamwork, and a family that never gave up. ♥️

Did Santa🎅leave an e-bike under the tree🎄for your kid? 🚲

E-bikes were one of the most requested gifts this season — and they can be amazing. But in Connecticut, they’re also regulated like vehicles, not toys.

Before your child rides, make sure they:
✔️ Know the legal restrictions where you live
✔️ Wear a high-speed rated helmet every time
✔️ Have real bike control and traffic awareness

Don’t just hope they stay safe — make sure you know the law and read our full guide! Read the full article and protect their freedom AND their safety. https://bit.ly/4pZANWo

E-bikes are everywhere this holiday season. From social media videos to neighborhood rides, electric bikes have quickly become one of the most requested gifts for kids and teens.

We are deeply grateful to Big Y for this extraordinary $1 million gift. 💖 The Big Y Tree of Life will stand as a lasting symbol of hope, healing, and the power of community—supporting children and families for generations to come. 🌳✨

Big news at Connecticut Children's! We’re honored to share that Big Y has made a $1 million gift to support their new eight-story clinical Tower which helps expand pediatric services across the region. 💙 The lobby’s 30-foot illuminated tree will now be named the Big Y Tree of Life — a powerful symbol of hope and healing. 🌳✨

“In our 90 years as a family company, being an active participant in the communities we serve has always been at the heart of who we are,” said Mathieu D’Amour, Big Y’s vice president of real estate and development. “We’re honored to support Connecticut Children’s as they continue to expand their provision of life-changing care for kids across the region.”
