गोलियां छूटने से गर्भधारण की संभावना हो सकती है। अगर गोली छूटे हुए दो दिन से कम हुए हैं, तो तुरंत सहेली प्लस की गोली लें और फिर निर्धारित समय के अनुसार अगली गोली भी लें।

अगर दो दिन से ज़्यादा हो गए हैं, तो सहेली प्लस की गोली निर्धारित समय के अनुसार लेना जारी रखें, लेकिन अगली माहवारी तक अतिरिक्त गर्भनिरोधक जैसे कंडोम का उपयोग करें।

अगर गोली लेना भूलने को एक हफ़्ते से ज़्यादा हो गया है, तो आपको शुरुआत से फिर से शुरू करना होगा – अगली माहवारी के पहले दिन से गोली लें, फिर तीन महीने तक हफ़्ते में दो बार और उसके बाद हफ़्ते में एक बार लें। अगली माहवारी तक कंडोम का उपयोग ज़रूरी है।
