his MBBS and MD from the prestigious Utkal University, Bhubaneswar and has Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine, Diabetes, Thyroid, Diabetic Retinopathy, Gestational Diabetes from AHERF and Royal College of Liverpool. He has been trained at Apollo Hospitals Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad also in Critical Care Medicine and Management of Diabetic Patients. Currently he is attached to Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital and Kalinga Hospital, Bhubaneswar. On the academic front, Dr Rath is a regular speaker at various academic forums and has more than 30 publications in various national and international books ans journals to his credit. For his ardent passion in imparting knowledge, he regularly organises various CMEs, Group Discussions and Classes among his students, junior doctors and paramedical staffs. He is one of the few practitioners in Odisha who dedicates himself to practice and promotion of Adult Vaccination in Odisha like Influenza, Pneumococcal, Hepatitis A & B, Cervical Cancer (HPV), Typhoid, Chicken Pox, TdaP among others. Clinical Cardio-Diabetic Society of India (CCDSI) is a scientific society headquartered at Gaya, Bihar. It was conceptualised by Founder President and National Patron Prof Dr AN Rai, 8 years back to concentrate on the recent advances and updates on cardiovascular and diabetes related disorders and complications.
The Odisha Chapter was formed in 2022 under the able leadership of Past National President and State Patron Prof Dr Jayanta Kumar Panda.
CCDSI Odisha has been working towards improving lives of people with cardio-diabetic diseases through various camps, awareness programs and conferences.
Honoured to represent CCDSI Odisha as the Treasurer at the 2nd Annual State Conference, held on 19th July at Lyfe Hotel, Bhubaneswar. I had the privilege to speak on a topic close to my heart – "Vaccination Plan in a Case of Chronic Cardio-Diabetic Co-Morbidities" – focusing on preventive care in high-risk patients.

Truly humbled and grateful to receive the Young Achiever in Cardio-Diabetes in Odisha Award, presented by Padmashri Prof. Dr. Ashok Kumar Mohapatra, Founder Director, AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

An Interactive Yoga Session was organized on 21st June 2025 at Hi Tech Medical College & Hospital as a part of the ongoing National Annual Midterm Conference of Geriatric Society of India, GSICON 2025 from 20th-22nd June 2025 at Bhubaneswar. The interactive yoga session was a wonderful addition to the conference, promoting health, mindfulness, and well-being among all participants.
