We are working to get her unstuck from that right side and having her find a more centered weight distribution. There are many ways to achieve this. In this case, we were working with the sternum against the wall. Since the sternum is part of the midline, the weight starts to naturally organize around it. The result is a more aligned structure, with the shoulders sitting over the hips, the hips floating above the knees and the knees lining up with the ankles. Still so much more work to do, but this is an incredible start. When you’ve spent a lifetime with your weight on one side of your body, being center will feel absurdly and ridiculously lopsided. It’s a wild experience!
