Today is International Cat Day! We love our four legged friends of all types. Share your photos with us - we would love to see your beautiful babies.

The frequency of cat purring is between 25 and 140 Hz. The same frequency has been shown to aid in the healing of broken bones, joint and tendon repair, and wound healing. Cats' purrs are also known to help reduce stress and anxiety. Even more reason to love cats!

On Friday, June 27, our non-profit, Pacific Hearing Connection, led by Dr. Deborah Clark and Dr. Jane Baxter, provided audiology expertise, student supervision and training, and a tremendous amount of enthusiasm to help provide comprehensive hearing screenings to athletes and coaches participating in the 2025 Regional Special Olympics Summer Games.
Our shared goal was to inform athletes, parents, coaches, and caregivers about the detection of possible ear and hearing problems, recommend follow-up as needed, and advise about the necessity of regular ear and hearing healthcare.
We estimate that 300+ athletes were seen through this event! Thank you Dr. Clark and Dr. Baxter for giving back to the community. If you would like to find out more about Pacific Hearing Connection, our non-profit, check out their website. https://www.pacifichearingconnection.org/
