Silgel

Silgel Silgel is a topical silicone gel that is used to reduce the visibility of scars resulting from surgery, burns and other injuries.

It is an easy-to-apply, non-sticky formula which dries quickly and helps retain the skin’s moisture. Ingredients: Silicone gel – Polysiloxane. Free from preservatives, colours and perfumes. Silgel is used for the management of keloids, hypertrophic scars and associated erythema and it's proven to:

- Hydrate the skin resulting in softer and flatter scars

- Protect scarred tissue from bacterial invasion

- Prevent excessive collagen production in scar tissue

- Reduce itching and discomfort

Silicone gel is also suitable for use on sensitive skin and on children, it's safe and effective for hypertrophic and keloidal scars and, most importantly, it's very easy to apply and is cosmetically acceptable!
