The Tarnow Center for Self-Management® is an interdisciplinary group of mental health professionals who treat patients in an integrated systemic, goal-focused manner. We teach patients a pragmatic process, in which patients learn to use their own resources in times of crisis and stress. Our staff efficiently works as a team to get the patient to the mental health professional with the most experie
nce in dealing with that specific problem area. We are known for treating the most complicated patients with biopsychosocial difficulties such as Tourette's Disorder, complicated Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder with co-morbid conditions, Juvenile Bipolar Disorder, Conduct Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Our staff consists of two psychiatrists, six psychologists, three certified social workers, and two educational specialists. The Tarnow Center for Self-Management® is dedicated to community education and prevention. We provide a wide array of workshops and lectures in may different setting from churches, schools, and to associations such as the Junior League and the ADDA-SR.
