A recent pilot study has assessed the role of a ketogenic diet as an adjunct therapy in major depressive disorder.

This small study found a reduction in depression symptoms in a short time frame in students with mild to moderate depression.

Our final plenary presentation for is Distinguished Professor of Chung Shan Medical University and UN Goodwill Ambassador, Chin-Kun Wang.

Prof Chin-Kun Wang is the former president of the International Society for Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods and the Honorary President of the Nutrition Society of Taiwan.

His research is focused on human clinical trials and human metabolism of medicine, nutritional supplements, nutraceuticals, herbs and functional foods, and his work has received numerous outstanding research awards.
