We had 7 students attend AMCP Nexus last week in Grapevine, TX. The students learned invaluable lessons, bringing back plenty of knowledge to share with the rest of the chapter. Amber & Kody presented their posters following their summer internships with AMCP/Pfizer. Sam served on the Student Pharmacist Committee. AMCP Annual will Be I’m Boston in April. If anyone is interested in attending, please reach out!

Congratulations to our past president, Katelyn Lutz, for being selected to serve as a national representative on the 2017-2018 Membership Committee. She has previously served on the Student Pharmacist Committee, but she will no longer be a student after May. She chose to step up and compete with the professional members for a spot on her current committee. Her hard work paid off. We couldn't be more proud!

-Katelyn participated in the conference buddy program, had a meeting with Industry professionals, and began her service as a member of the Student Pharmacist Committee
-Sam and Katelyn represented UMKC at the Chapter Leadership Academy and lead a round table discussion on our networking event

We've already begun the countdown to AMCP Nexus in October! Until then, we are excited to network at our Annual Networking Event on May 3rd. Any questions regarding membership or the Networking event can be directed to Katelyn Lutz at KatelynLutz@mail.umkc.edu
