When we find the courage to feel our feelings, the healing can begin.
I work with many men struggle who to 'feel their feelings'.
Often they describe 'being emotional' as a deficiency.
But the feelings are there, whether we feel them or not.
And if we don't learn how to relate to them they come out as anger, rage, anxiety or many shades or fear.
We lash out against ourselves or others when we least want or expect to.
Our emotions are parts of ourselves calling out to be witnessed, to be held, to be released.
