If you look at this Body Fat Accumulation chart, I've created you may tend to think that, because fat has the least amount of step in the process that it would be stored on the body as fat faster than Carbs or Protein. However, the missing link when it comes to dietary fat being accumulated on the body as body fat is the hormone "insulin". Without a significant amount of insulin present in the bloodstream minimizes the chance of body fat accumulation. YES...body fat accumulation is "by far" more driven by hormones than excess calories.
