If you do not give us sufficient notice, or if you don’t show up to your appointment without any notice, you will be charged for the ‼️FULL AMOUNT‼️ of your appointment.

This policy is in place to ensure other patients can take advantage of schedule openings!

⭐️MEET DR. TELISE⭐️

We are thrilled to announce the addition of a new chiropractor to our amazing team here at The Nest 🪺!!!

Dr. Telise Carmichael graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2020. She has spent the last few years working in the busy downtown core, so when she decided she wanted a change of pace, Cochrane seemed like the perfect fit! She loves to hike, and after spending 14 days in the Himalayas earlier this year to check off the bucket-list item of making it to Everest Base Camp, she knew she needed to be closer to the mountains!🏔️

As a chiropractor, Telise practices with a diversified multimodal approach that incorporates movement to enhance musculoskeletal health. She is passionate about creating individualized treatment plans that not only address and manage current symptoms, but also focus on preventative care and performance.

She has special interests in:
🪺 TMJ dysfunction
🪺 peripheral nerve entrapments
🪺 headaches
🪺 postural dysfunction
🪺 foot and ankle problems

Dr. Telise is also certified in Functional Integrated Acupuncture and finds it to be a valuable component of her treatment approach!

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Telise likes to read 📚, do puzzles 🧩 , play sports ⚽️ , indulge in international cuisine 🍣and spend time with her family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒! She also loves to travel and has been to 33 countries 🌎!

‼️PSA: STOP NORMALIZING YOUR HEADACHES!!!!

✨ Did you know - Chiropractic care can effectively manage your headaches!

Manual therapy, soft tissues therapy, modalities, rehabilitation and patient education are key 🔑 in the management of tension and cervicogenic headaches.

Studies have shown that chiropractic care can even help decrease the frequency and intensity of migraines! 💆🏼‍♀️

Other things you can do to manage at home include:

🧊 drinking lots of water
💤 getting a good night sleep
🔥 using a hot compress on the neck and shoulders
🧘 practicing meditation and relaxation techniques
