Why?
This was started as a way for me to chronicle my vegging journey without annoying my friends with pictures of food. (It gets old unless you really LOVE food)
These are some of the meals we eat. (The kids are not always on board and I still cook meat) You will see lots of veggie and vegan fare and whole food plant based. I like to make re-creations of popular meat and cheese rich recipes and you will see processed food products on this page. We love the Beyond Meat brand and frequently enjoy their burgers.
I am not a vegetarian. I am not a vegan, but I try to eat A LOT of veggies, and a lot of the recipes I make would please any vegan’s palate. In reality, I am just a mom in a world of too many dietary labels, trying to live life and be strong.
