Our dedicated team of SLPs provide individualized care for children with speech, language, feeding, swallowing, voice, and fluency disorders, as well as those with autism, auditory processing disorders, apraxia, oral motor deficits and more. We offer specialized services including auditory-verbal therapy, cochlear implant rehab, and AAC support. 💙💛

🌟 Meet members of the Bliss Speech & Hearing Team! 🌟
Today, we’re excited to feature Patty, who has more than 30 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, and 21 of them with Bliss! 🙌🏼

📝 Her areas of expertise include myofunctional therapy, fluency, voice therapy, and working with those diagnosed with central auditory processing disorders. She also provides therapy services to adults and children with articulation and language disorders.

🎓 Patty graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of North Texas, and a Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Texas. She served as a speech-language pathologist in the public school system for 12 years before joining private practice, then Bliss in 2004. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors including gardening, hiking, and camping.

✨This year at Bliss, we’ve been celebrating some major milestones! Not only did our second location in Plano open a few weeks ago, but we’re also celebrating 30 years of business here at Bliss. 💙💛

It’s been our ultimate joy to help each patient on their speech, language, or hearing journey, and we are SO grateful to our Bliss friends and families. 🥲 We also couldn’t do this without our amazing SLPs who work tirelessly to help each patient reach their speech and language goals!! 🙌🏼

🌟 Flashback Friday! At the Boots & Bling Gala benefitting , we loved seeing familiar faces. 🌟

Both Matthew and Rene were patients when they were children, and both are accomplished young men with cochlear implants! Matthew is a current TDP at Comercia Bank, and Rene is studying to be an engineer at UT Dallas. Potter is a current patient and has made wonderful progress during his time with us.

Auditory-Verbal Therapy is an amazing tool and it’s been so rewarding to watch our deaf and hard of hearing children succeed in life post AVT treatment... our patients have gone on to become teachers, doctors, technology specialists, computer scientists, nurses, and even speech/language pathologists and audiologists!! 🙌🏼

We had so much fun this past weekend at the Boots & Bling Gala benefiting the Dallas Hearing Foundation!! The gala featured a silent and live auction, casino games, giveaways, and a Horseshoe Raffle Contest (sponsored by Bliss)!

The Dallas Hearing Foundation is a nonprofit that provides hearing healthcare, cochlear implants, and support for the deaf and hard of hearing community. This cause is very special to all of us at Bliss… Brenda Bliss and Stacey Vincent (pictured) are two LSLS Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapists (AVTs), and work daily to enhance auditory skills to develop spoken language in patients through cochlear implant rehabilitation and auditory verbal therapy.

Also pictured are two cochlear implant surgeons - Dr. B. Robert Peters and Dr. Brian Rodgers. Thank you for a great night, Dallas Hearing Foundation!! 🤠🤠🤠

We had so much fun meeting Daisy Kent (The Bachelor, Season 28) at the Cochlear Implant International conference in Boston! Daisy has a cochlear nucleus implant device and has been an amazing advocate for successful cochlear implant usage. We loved meeting you, Daisy!
