During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are functioning as a dedicated vaccination clinic for well people. We truly are a one-stop-shop!

Travel Bug Vaccination Clinic is South Australia's ONLY purely travel medicine clinic. What began as a special interest within a general practice has grown to become a highly successful and nationally recognised authority on the health requirements of the overseas traveller. Internationally registered with the World Health Organisation (WHO) as a Yellow Fever clinic, we provide travel health advice, vaccinations, doctors, nurses and nurse practitioners qualified in Travel Medicine (qualifications obtained overseas as no formal qualifications are available in Australia). The medical staff at the Travel Bug Vaccination Clinics possess a broad, detailed range of information and advice for those travelling overseas. Our services are applicable to all kinds of travellers, from the business executive, to the private tourist, and for those travelling both short and long-term. Our information is obtained through many sources, including on-line data from the Centre of Disease Control (CDC), Atlanta, and the World Health Organisation. Most staff are also widely travelled with all the major destinations covered between the staff members! To assist us in our quest to keep you well and save you time we have everything available on site. This includes all vaccinations, malaria medications, diarrhoea medication, mosquito repellent products and travel kits. We also provide treatment for post-bite rabies. We offer free onsite parking - simply come up our driveway from Fullarton Road and grab a park.

Appointments are currently available on Tuesdays and Thursdays

New patients are welcome, meaning you don't need to have visited us previously to book an appointment.

Visit www.health.gov.au to check your eligibility or find more information. If you have further personal questions about eligibility or the COVID-19 vaccination, please book a consult with your regular GP.

🎄 Our clinic has closed for the Festive Season and will reopen on Friday 29th January 2021.

Appointment bookings for the New Year can be made at www.travel-bug.com. If you have a question, please email us at admin1@travel-bug.com and we will reply within 7 business days.

If you are waiting on results, a clinician will contact you when they are available. If it has been more than four weeks since blood collection, please contact us via email.

SA Health has announced changes will come into effect from 7th August 2020 that will mean children will not be able to enrol in or attend early childhood services unless all immunisation requirements are met.
