Modifications aren't exercises for the weak. They are for the determined one!

Modifying exercises or workouts isn't something that should cause frustration. They will
▪️Reduce the risk of injury
▪️Promote great posture
▪️Increase strength

So doing a pushup on a wall will get you stronger to do them on your knees. Then eventually, in Plank formation.

Never feel bad about modifying your workout because of a stressful day and lack of sleep, and doing a high-intensity activity while exhausted may cause injury.

Listen to your body and give 100% of what it is capable of at that moment.

3 Things To Do Before Starting You Fitness Journey

1. Plan Food and Fitness
What are you eating? When are you working out? What are your workouts? What do you need to excute your plans?

2. Get an Accountability Buddy
Does this person support your goals? What should you expect from one another? Share your capabilities in your roles. How will you measure your progress? When and how will you meet? What are your rewards?

3. Check the Nag in your head
Be aware of them. Is it a hinderance or helpful for your goal? Change the narrative to be helpful. Act on the positive change.

Celebrating going All-In August!

🎉 I improved my runtime and distance.
🎉 I drank a lot of water, nearly a gallon a day.
🎉 My Strength Training is going well! I am lifting heavier and am stronger.
🎉 I have consistently read or studied my Bible.

In other words, you are committed to a choice! All your actions take you one step closer to your end goal. You have systems in your life to lessen the friction on your journey. If something gets in your way, you remove it or find another path.

When it comes to food and fitness, people allow resistance to impede their progress. Here are some examples:

🟠 It is your BFF’s birthday, so you party so hard you require a two-day recovery. So, no workouts and a whole lot of greasy foods to soak up the liquor.

🟣 You are so busy that you are not able to prepare meals, causing you to eat crappy all week.

🟠 Your workout buddy bailed, and you followed suit.

🟣 Overworking and skipping meals to binge eat in the evening.
It is raining, and you opt not to exercise.

🟠 You eat a slice of cake because you exercised.

🟣 You get injured and do not seek medical care.

Going all-in means you see resistance and try to avoid it all cost. If it is unavoidable, you do everything possible to get yourself back on track. No one is perfect, and people stumble. When you go all in, you decide to get back up and take the next step closer to your goal. That is how you don't screw it up!

Without nutritious foods, the body's systems will fail to operate properly. Eventually, it may impact your exercise performance, sleep, or mood. Before you realize, you're wondering why you are gaining weight.

Take care of yourself! Eat nutritious foods! Your body will thank you for it!

Late Night Eating may cause indigestion or an uncomfortable sleep but not in the form of .

Certain foods like salt, pasta or bread may cause water weight gain but that is only temporary.

Then having a full belly or digestive system may make it seem you have gotten fatter, but let the food fully digest to see that you haven't put on permanent pounds.

What Worked Before, Isn't Working Now?

Change, good or bad, maybe the reason. Children, a career (or lack of), financial stability, relationships, mindset, accessibility, or your body all change and impact how you operate. Finding what works requires understanding what is currently going on and discovering the best fit for your end goal.

The fallacy in it working. It never actually worked. It produced a result, but not the one you truly were seeking. For example, quick fixes like pills to make you strong or detoxes to lose weight are not long-term solutions and only work when taken.

You are doing it wrong. Maybe you think you are following a program correctly, but you are not lifting the correct weight or not using the tracking apps correctly. Furthermore, not sleeping enough or having the proper mindset can prevent it from working.

It is alright to rest when needed! We all need decompression for our minds and bodies from time to time. Hop right back on the ball afterwards.

Do not give your power to other people. You have the ability to do amazing thing! Give it your best try! Ask for help if needed!
