💙 Yesterday marks an end of an era - 10 years of working in the NHS have come to an end 💙

Having a career break for 6 months allowed me to realise that I still love my job (Physio), but, the environment wasn't right for me (because obviously that wasn't apparent when I used to sit with a cardboard box on my head cus I needed a dark, quiet space 😭🤣)

Creating this gym space has made me fall in love with my job and the people all over again.

💛 From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank everyone who has come on this journey with me, from those who pop into classes or 1-2-1's once every 6 weeks ... to those on our online coaching programmes that live 100 miles away and I have never met in person. An even bigger shout-out to my regulars who have believed in me from day 1 🙏🏻💛

We can't wait to see where the next few years takes us and hope you continue to join us for the ride.

Such a good glute burn! Very easy to cheat in this by opening up the hip, try to keep your hips square and push back into your arms to stop you shifting forwards

Currently I'm doing a pre-natal course and whilst I am no expert on this area yet, I am FED UP at some of the language being used in it. The overuse of the word "fragile" has me tearing my eyes out.

🤔 Think of the word fragile ... what does it make you think of? Breakable/likely to snap/ delicate and easily injured .... maybe more?🤔 If you are teaching pre-natal students that they are fragile .... how are they going to feel? ..... Probably terrified! I would be!

✨EMPOWER YOUR STUDENTS! Show them their bodies are amazing! Guide them and help them explore what their bodies can do! Don't keep them locked in a shell, being scared to stretch their legs or look over their shoulder in case they snap because you've drilled into them that THEY HAVE SO MUCH RELAXIN IN THEM THEY SHOULDNT BEND OR TWIST! 🫣

🍋 The reason I started up Fizzy Lemon was because clinicians kept telling my friends to stop doing what they loved. This was down to lack of knowledge and understanding about how to get these athletes back to be upside down. 🍋

We have now been working with Circus artists for 5 years and plan to keep you going for much much longer
