I love a good hash. What a great way to make use of leftovers and have a super quick, freshly cooked meal full of flavor...

I love a good hash. What a great way to make use of leftovers and have a super quick, freshly cooked meal full of flavor.

And they work for any meal of the day!

Here are my secrets...

1 - Pick a base "slow carb" like brown rice, riced cauliflower, quinoa, roasted sweet potatoes, white beans, etc...

2 - Saute some onions, peppers, garlic in ghee or another quality oil (avacado, coconut, nut oils, lard... seriously... if it's from a quality bacon with no nitrates added) until soft

3 - Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup of your "slow carb" base and heat a couple of minutes until warm

4 - Add whatever else you like... tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, a handful of baby spinach, meats (I usually cut up what I have left over. My faves are bacon, steak, pork chop, chicken thighs), cheese.

5 - Breakfast version... I love to make 2 little holes in the center of the hash and place an egg in each. Let it cook for a couple of minutes until cooked on the bottom and then place under the broiler to finish off the eggs to your taste. I like my whites cooked but the yolk still soft in the middle.

Happy New Year!

Are you ready to begin your New Year with a mindset for success? I'm specifically talking about mindset around health... your WHOLE health... physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

When I was in my early 30's, I was conditioned to seek out and listen to the "experts" in medicine. And it wasn't working for me or my family. And I was TERRIFIED to question their advice and follow my heart.

Well, 20 years later, I can say it led me on a wild ride of learning to overcome "diagnoses" that had the potential to lock me and my family into decades of treatment.

The ride was a bit wild, but it was worth it! Because in the end I grew tremendously, gained confidence, accepted myself and others and learned how to live in the moment with peace and joy.

There's a well proven pattern to this process... and I want to help you cut years off the learning curve.
