Calling all girls aged 8 and up! Prepare for an enriching and exciting experience at our Patrol Like A Girl Day, taking place on Saturday, March 8th 2025.

Designed to empower girls with essential mountain safety skills and first aid knowledge, guided by the dedicated women of the Ski Patrol community. Topics covered will include First Aid, avalanche basics, toboggan handling, snowmobile safety and more.

This event provides a unique platform for girls to connect with peers and mentors, who share a passion for skiing and snowboarding.

You won’t want to miss this exciting day filled with adventure, learning and lots of laughter. See you on the slopes!

Interested in joining the Canadian Ski Patrol - Greater Vancouver Zone for the 2024/2025 season? There’s still time to apply! We offer our services at Cypress, Seymour, Sasquatch and Manning!

RSVP to our info night on Tuesday, September 10th to learn more. Classes starts on the September 14/15 weekend.

To become a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol, you are required to attend 4 full weekends of mandatory in-person Advanced First Aid (AFA) training and successfully pass written and diagnostic exams held on a separate weekend. Additionally, once the season starts, you will be required to attend on-hill training to have your first aid and skiing and/or snowboarding skills assessed, and trained to handle a toboggan.

Our “Patrol Like a Girl” weekend at Manning Park was a success! 🌸 This weekend was dedicated to promoting female participation and leadership within the patrol!

We held our first Junior Ski Patrol Camp offering young girls the chance to learn about mountain safety, first aid, and ski patrol basics!

We also held informational sessions and workshops, mock ski evaluations, and networking opportunities for women of all ages who are curious about joining the ski patrol community.

We had a great turnout and can’t wait to continue offering experiences like this! ☀️
